Caroline's warm hospitality shines bright
From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful birthday card awaiting me, I felt like a cherished friend rather than just a guest. The breakfast was a delightful spread, satisfying and beautifully prepared, perfect to fuel my day at the races.
Although the noise from the busy street could sometimes seep in, the soundproof windows did a commendable job of mitigating the disturbance. Just a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.

We had a cracking time here! Caroline, the host, was pure brilliant and we loved the comfy room with all the essentials. Just a wee bit noisy from the busy road. Really enjoyed the short walk to the town centre, though—everything’s close by!

Caroline's hospitality made all the difference during my stay. She was welcoming from the moment I arrived, making sure I had everything I needed. The room felt spacious and was impeccably clean, with a comfortable king-sized bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. It had a lovely touch, like a KitKat waiting for me each day. Breakfast was truly a highlight—delicious and plentiful. Caroline offered a variety of options and always made sure the tea and coffee were topped up. The only downside was occasional noise from the busy street outside, which was a bit distracting late at night. Still, the soundproof windows did manage to keep most of it at bay, and it didn’t ruin my overall experience. I also wish there were more parking spaces available, as that could be a challenge during peak times. I would certainly come back without hesitation.

The super king-sized bed was a welcome surprise, and the room size felt more generous in person. Customizable breakfast options made each morning special, with fresh berries and homemade elements that really stood out.
A few guests mentioned the room size felt smaller than expected, which could be a tad cramped for some. There were complaints about sporadic noise from the busy main road, although the soundproofing helped mitigate it mostly. finding parking during peak times could be challenging, limiting convenience for those traveling by car.
